A calm daily rhythm
Julien says his perfect day starts with a cup of coffee, either at home or picked up on the way to his first shoot of the day.
He almost always travels to his shoots by cargo bike. “It’s so practical for carrying all my equipment,” he explains.
His workday doesn’t end when the shoot is over. Afterward, he returns home to edit the photos he captured during the day.
As the day winds down, he lights some incense, puts on a vinyl record, and sits in the living room to enjoy another good cup of coffee.
“It’s very simple, but I love these quiet moments after being in the middle of Paris’ noise and movement,” Julien says.
A space that supports everyday life
Like many Paris apartments, Julien’s home isn’t very large.
Living in a small space has taken some getting used to. “It’s not always easy, but I think we’ve managed it step by step,” he says.
